A synopsis - of course (gawd you're so pushy!)
Well, I was clearer out my filing cabinet and found some old photobooth photos of me and my best friend from high school.

I realised that with the low quality print, it would fade, so I put it through my trusty scanner (a Christmas present of sorts, from myself). Then I went on a scanning rampage, because I was and still am procrastinating, and thought I'd scan the cover of The White Earth, because I read it last week and loved it - and I have no one to discuss it with!
:-( because I dont know anyone who has read it.

So using picasa, I uploaded it. But I didn't write any more than a caption, because I was going through my photo album.

Was that what you wanted? :-)

OK - its a perfectly structured modern day Great Expectations with alternating chapters throwing back to earlier decades in the life of the protagonist's foil. It covers colonisation, land rights, WWII, Vietnam, rightwing protest natinalism, changes in women's roles...
its set in Queensland Australia. Its going to get put on reading lists. He gone done the Miles Franklin proud!

Hmm Me thinks the "real" Justine is beginning to emerge! I must i say i do like the new smart arse..evil....witty....Justine! Although, it was fun while it lasted pushing the old delicate flower Justine around too!

Hmmm, sounds interesting. I admit it wouldn't be something i would ordinarily read, but the land rights, colonisation and nationalism have won me enough to go see if i can find it :)
